Lol, we dutch have a name for using lots of distortion? I thought we went cheap on everyting. :)
Anyway, the distortion was done on purpose. I liked that for this sound. Wasn't going for a sweet filtered version of the original.

Tiny single OSC feeding filter at resonance breaking point, cutoff modulated by two slow LFOs. Some FX juice added later on.

Hey Tom!
I didn't get the stand (yet), but I don't think I'd like to use it. Atm I have the synth sit on the desk, with a book placed underneath at the back to lift it a bit. I'd like a dedicated desk stand/case thingy, with wooden side panels of course. :)

Adam Hall has a nice laptop stand, which would bring the whole thing even closer to your eyes... :mrgreen:

I'm perfectly fine with the current distance (normal laptop or book distance).

check ikea bräda for 2,99 euro - perfect stand for sizes like the tiny, jp-808, oberheim sem modules or rack-gear like schippmann ebbe & flut etc.

ich habe den TINYSIZER nun hier und ich muss sagen, ich mag das Design.

Die Sounds sind auf jeden Fall schon mal überzeugend. Erstaunlicherweise geht das Patchen mit den
Minikäbelchen besser als ich dachte. Für meine Augen ist das zwar anstrengend, aber besser als erwartet.

Man muss aber immer aufpassen, dass auf dem Signalweg sich keine Distortion einschleicht, sonst klingt's
schnell agressiv. ( Ich mag das, aber manchmal will man ja auch soft )

Es gibt aber genug Möglichkeiten das Signal mittels VCAs oder Mixern abzuschwächen.
