Roland rs-09

Hello I would like to know if rs-09 can be synchronized via midi..It has only gate output.Can I convert that output with a converter?Thanx

normally you need gate + cv INPUTS, if you got them you can use any MIDI to CV interface. on non monophonic synths it will be hard to do.

It has a gate out..what for?

the gate out can trigger a filter envelope on a synth with an external in.

it will trigger all envelopes in external synths, you can even use it as a drum trigger, if the voltage fits to the drummachine.
