Autechre – NTS Session 1-4 (Abstract / Glitch – IDM)

Aktuell kann man Streams von Autechre hören, die auf NTS liefen/laufen.
Später wird man die auch kaufen können als eigene Box-Sets. Ähnlich wie beim Vorgänger elseq & L-event.

die Sachen sind live und auch wirklich lang – 137800 Sekunden, quasi 2-3 Tage Musik.
Wer bei dem letzten Live-Event dabei war, kann sicher vorstellen, was da passiert – mit Beats, ohne und Sounds ohne Ende. Wie man weiss – Computer sind die Hauptbasis und das Event ist ein sehr durchgeplantes Spezialevent, was man jederzeit anhören kann. Aber jede Woche eben nur eins – danach kann man es nur kaufen.

Klang – erinnert nicht an bisherige Alben, dh – doch, aber es ist eben auch anders. Es gibt eine andere Rhythmik, selbst hören!

yet another good week for AE listeners and lovers – they are now in the 4th week of broadcasting about 3 days of music that can be bought as a BOX SET set – full of music that reminds me most of their last AE live
as you know – they are mostly generating their music via computers and algorithms created with Max/MSP and the like. there are interviews around.

AE are one of those musicians musicians that a lot of electronic artists appreciate because of their innovation and math-bound continuation of things others never startet (Kraftwerk did not – but Frank Bretschneider maybe did..?)
