there have been quite a lot of interesting things at NAMM, see all the 2-3 pages of news – here’s a new Apple-Keyboard-kind of MINI USB Keyboard from CME with polyphonic Aftertouch and Dynamics for $99 .. also Behringer got a range of Mixers that also work as an audio interface in 4 sizes – as a small 19″ rack, a bigger one like the Yamaha 01V96 and the 2 X32 mixers with OLED displays for track names and full knob control – they are all iPad controllable as well…

they’re stompboxing the H9000? Well, this one is more the preset-kind of thing, but looks like there will be an editor app for ipads, has MIDI and so it might be a good idea and chance to have the quite unhandy H-series Editor (Orville n stuff) to be more usable and touchable, so .. this is a great chance to do it the right way, I did not even see or touch it, so .. one of those things to check out.. Launchkey is a new little iPad Preset Synth with morphable parameters and a new controller keyboards with 16 pads is released under the same name as well. the launchkey-app is already available at the appstore, since there is already another app named launchpad we’ll see if it will be released under that name – it’s planned to add something to the pads – maybe sooner or later to control ableton live in a launchpad manner?..

Waves go synthesizers – Element – standard VA synth

Element By Waves. is nothing special – a 2 OSCed 4 LFO synth with all you might expect but nothing too special except it is from waves – well known for their production tools and quite hard dongled (iLok’ed) and expensive bundles. But well – they’re good at what they’re doing.. has a sequencer/arpeggiator as well and they went for Jordan Rudess to put his name under it.. Forum: Waves stellt ersten Synth vor…. ein Standard VA, aber von Waves ist nun unterwegs. 2 OSCs, 4 LFOs, Standard Filter und Arp/Sequencer.
