NORMAN FAIRBANKS has created an App for iPhone from and for Kraftwerk. ComputerClub 2, eine Sendung mit langer Tradition (immer ein Bit über behalten) berichten dieses mal über Celemony Melodyne. CC2 haben bereits 266 Audiopodcasts und 54 TV-Sendungen hinter sich nach deren gemeinsamer WDR-Vergangenheit im TV beginnend in den frühen 80ern. Leider sind die Jungs eher keine Apple-Freunde, aber dennoch ist deren Sendung sehr hörens/sehenswert. Zu Melodyne mit DNA (direct note access) muss ich hier sicher nicht viel sagen. Hier eine Vorschau, was grade im Hause Palm angedacht ist. Das Ding funktioniert in Echtzeit und wie man erkennen kann handelt es sich um spektrale Echtzeitmanipulationen mit sehr guter Übersicht. Sicher gibt es auch andere Werkzeuge, aber der Vater der Wavetables wird vielleicht daraus einmal ein Produkt machen, sicher dann nicht mit Standardfenstern, wobei mir das doch sehr sympathisch wäre wenn keine animierten Lüfter und ähnlicher nutzloser Schnickschnack eingebaut werden müssen, damit das interessant ist. use the App S1MIDItrigger and the Line6 MIDI Interface to control your synths, since everything has CCs the iPad makes a nice Programmer – the app is also available for the iPhone, but may only be enough for just a hand full of controllers.
