Zum Thema Authentizität kann ich nur sagen dass er wie ein Sampler klingt. Das was du hinein gibst kommt auch wieder hinaus. Der Sampler benutzt die neumodische Methode der Samplerate. Beim fairlight war es ja eine dynamische Samplerate also wird der fairlight immer anders klingen. Wahrscheinlich besser

Ja vielen Dank für dein Statement. Dürfte wahrscheinlich nicht ganz so einfach sein mit aktuellen Wandlern die 8 Bit des Fairlight authentisch nachzubilden.
Dennoch Klasse! Dein PC "Infinity" sieht aus wie das Arbeitsgerät eines Gynäkologen. Gefällt mir aber trotzdem :)

Genau der ist es aber ich habe ihn für 102 € + Versand ersteigert. Letzte woche gab es die Rechner noch für 199 Euro oder Preisvorschlag. Der Händler hatte mir 175 vorgeschlagen aber ich habe dann ersteigert

Das war ein Schnapper! Hab den gerade auf eBay für 139,-€ Startpreis gesehen - mal beobachten. Für den Zweck finde ich den Mega auch von der Optik her und irgendwie auch passend als "Fairlight".

Nicht das du/ihr mich jetzt nicht steinigt aber wurde der schon mal mit dem Arturia Teil verglichen? Aus meiner Sicht fehlen dem Arturia etliche Menüs und Funktionen ist das so?

In gewisser Weise wurde bei Arturia einiges auf einer Seite zusammengefasst und bei diesem Programm fühlt es sich fast wie das Original an aber das ist nur meine Meinung.

Er kann schon ein wenig mehr aber im Grunde sehe ich es ähnlich. Außerdem kann ich mir die Bedienung mit einem Touchscreen beim Arturia nicht so gut vorstellen

Hab bislang nur flüchtig damit gefummelt und die Anwendung öfter schon zum Absturz gebracht (allerdings v1.21). Ein wenig mehr Robustheit wäre langfristig schön, auch für so DAUs wie mich.

Kann der eigentlich bei den Wavetables auch die Slots überblenden? Und wieviele Samples darf so ein Slot einer Wavetable haben - ist das beliebig groß? Wenn beides zutrifft, wäre das ja ein Opfer für meine XForm - Tables. Der echte CMI (zumindest der 3er) kann das offenbar, bei YT hatte mal einer ein Video damit gemacht.

Die 1.21 war Sch... Er hat eine Woche später sofort die 1.22 nachgeschoben. Probiere doch mal aus ob es geht und berichte hier. Du hast ja viel Erfahrung mit solchen Sachen. Audioterm ist noch immer ein tolles Tool.
Überblenden von Segments habe ich noch nicht gefunden. Der Fairlight hat 128 Segments

Dann muss ich mal bei Gelegenheit die neue Version ansehen. Meine Tables sind unglücklicherweise derzeit nur 33 Segments lang, dafür aber recht groß. Damit habe ich das Programm in der letzten Version schon beim Laden bzw. beim Ändern der Parameter abgeschossen. Hatte aber keine Zeit, dass genau nachzuvollziehen.
