on the g5 (dual) it opens with current tiger version install

OK! Problem solved.
I was opening the .sit file with Stuffi

OK! Problem solved.
I was opening the .sit file with Stuffit Expander 9, which ruined the file and didn't let me open the app - aparently fine.
I tried Stuffit Expander 7 and now the editor works.
