Two internal effects processors can be used
simultaneously. This includes a wide range of
effects algorithms, such as reverb, bit

EQ, compressor, and a phase shifter.
Real-time control is provided by two note
variation sliders and two Q-Link knobs. Q-link
knobs can be separately assigned to allow
flexible, real-time performance control of a
wide variety of selectable parameters. These
parameters include level, pan, filter cut-off and
resonance, tuning, LFO(low frequency
oscillator) speed depth, all effect parameters
and more.
Each assignable Q-Link knob can generate
MIDI controller data so that all performance
information can be recorded and played back
from within a <a href="https://www.sequencer.de/specials/sequencer.html">Sequencer</a>uence. The Q-Link
Sequencer allows cyclic modulation
programming.
Following the highly acclaimed MPC60 and
MPC3000, 2 MIDI inputs and 4 MIDI outputs
come standard enabling 64 external MIDI
channel operation. In addition, the
MPC2500 can individually control its onboard
sampler up to 64 Parts, allowing users to
assign a different program on each track.
A large LCD screen allows a clear view of
<a href="https://www.sequencer.de/specials/sequencer.html">Sequencer</a>uence data displaying features such as a
piano roll, or a drum machine 'grid'.
Continuous MIDI data can be shown as well
as edited graphically.
The MPC2500 comes with 16MB of onboard
memory which can be expanded up to 128

Besitzen die MPCs eigentlich eine Art Rechanneling Mode ? Midi In 1 Kanal 2 wird beim (Ein)Spielen auf Midi Out 3 Kanal 4 geroutet.
Alles in allem eine interessante Weiterentwicklung, aber kann nicht mal jemand eine echte Alternative zum Computer entwickeln.
Mir fehlt eine Kreuzung aus Groovebox und V-Synth. Roland hat da mit MV8000 eindeutig potential verschenkt.

mv8000 vs vsynth: ja,der mod-<a href="https://www.sequencer.de/specials/sequencer.html">Sequencer</a> im ms2000 und vsynth sind imo etwas,was aber am besten jeder live synth haben sollte..
vielleicht sogar auch jede groovebox.. dann wäre es aber CC und co als ziel.. kann konfus werden..

mv8000 vs vsynth: ja,der mod-<a href="https://www.sequencer.de/specials/sequencer.html">Sequencer</a> im ms2000 und vsynth sind imo etwas,was aber am besten jeder live synth haben sollte..
vielleicht sogar auch jede groovebox.. dann wäre es aber CC und co als ziel.. kann konfus werden..

Klingt verdammt gut
Wenn der Contiuous Sample Track wirklich sauber gemacht ist, dann wäre die MPC auch bei Gesangs / Katzendarmaufnahmen eine Alternative zum Computer.
Klingt nicht so gut.
Ich hoffe mal, dass doch ein echtes Grid Recording dabei ist.

Ich hab einfach keine Zeit mehr für Livegigs und nur zum Vollstauben lohnt sich das Teil nicht.
