Thank you for your interest in WaveLab LE 7.
This OEM version is an entry-level product which in-
cludes basic functions in the area of editing and pub-
lishing of audio material. Alongside this OEM version,
there are also the full versions WaveLab Elements 7
and WaveLab 7, which provide further functionalities.
WaveLab LE 7 is for unlimited personal use. The pro-
gram covers a range of functions that help you to enter
the world of professional audio editing. WaveLab LE 7
not only allows you to edit CD-quality audio material
on two tracks, but also enhances your recordings with
more than ten plug-ins, including several effects taken
from our professional music software, Cubase. In ad-
dition, there is the integrated podcast function which
allows you to share music and voice recordings in the
internet.
Limitations of WaveLab LE 7
WaveLab LE 7 offers a limited number of audio tracks
as well as limited editing functions. The complete Au-
dio Montage and extended audio analysis functional-
ities are not included in WaveLab LE 7. A much higher
number of professional plug-ins and the new restora-
tion suite, which can be used to smooth out old re-
cordings, are available on WaveLab Elements 7 (with
limitations) and the professional version, WaveLab 7.
These two larger versions also provide advanced im-
port and export functions, a higher number of sup-
ported audio formats and a better quality in regard
to editing audio material (WaveLab 7). All additional
functions are available through an upgrade to a larger
version of WaveLab.
