Lust mitzumachen? Anmelden und die Sites ansehen, aber bitte nicht ohne Modularsystem kommen und bitte mit 20€ für die komplette Zeit beitragen, (für die Unkosten). Wer besondere Sachen hat oder etwas abweichend aber auch interessant, kann sich bei uns melden (Tommy oder mir). Wir sehen uns spätestens dort.
Wie immer hab ich auch sehr frühe Hefte des Synthesizer-Magazins evtl im Gepäck, bitte fragen, ich werde sie nicht an einem Stand haben, sondern nur “dabei”.
Jams und Workshops wird es auch geben und noch mehr spontane Ideen..
PS: Habe Ausgaben des Synthesizer-Magazins von Heft 1-21 dabei, bitte mich ansprechen. Werde keinen “Stand” aufmachen aber etwa 2-3 Hefte pro Ausgabe dabei haben, ebenso DVD-Lernkurs für kleines Geld. Nur beim Meeting, nicht per Post oder sowas ;)
Also: Sprich mich an, Moogulator.
Selbst CDs habe ich in WINZIGSTEN Mengen mit.

Very expressive and sensitive Controller, there’s 3 versions and very interesting features incl a chase light sequencer. so these guys aren’t like us germans, who really can not have such a sequencer and such an instrument in one piece, have a look at their demo.

this controller is worth 4000 bucks, but it’s sensor is quite like the one in the Accelerator – just move your instrument the way as shown here to send some controllers. strange ppl at that booth (don’t touch!!) so I felt a bit fuCCed by them.. but well, doesn’t mean not to show it. by sequencer.de synthesizer database. this is NOT a wind controller, just a kind of keyboard with 3D Sensor, the sound source was reaktor..

Simple quick play on Helmtronic Challenger – 4 VCOs, 2 Filters (24 & 12dB LPF + 4 Mode-Filter, inkl Mod Busses and Filter FM), there is a poly synth addition in the making that allows to use it paraphonically (like Poly 800, Polymoog), which will be sort of polyphonically playable..

And PLEASE!! This is NOT Formant, it’s not even called Formant. But it’s true, Achim just did that Formant System in the past, but this is HELMTRONIC so this is the Helmtronic Challenger and the smaller Rack Black Moon, so please delete the Formant if you see it on some Sites and Blogs, it’s wrong ;)

Musikmesse: Radikal Technologies Accelerator with 3D Controller
Jörg is a cool guy, he implemented a 3D Controller that allows to do it the ROCK way, the synths is a 3OSC’ed 2 Filter Synth that has a lot of the Spectralis – but it’s a different machine – still, there will be a Modulation Sequencer in it (3 or 4 Tracks) and it sounds very fine & hifi to my ears. here’s a little impression..

Shown at the Moog Booth – side by side to a classic Mellotron. this one is NOT based on tapes, it’s a sampler..
here’s some impressions – nothing special, just to watch how it looks like..
The new owner holds the name so this one is the new Mellotron, the second after the Memotron from Manikin (see earlier posts)

Musikmesse: Korg Workstation Overview ps60 / Microstation
these 2 basically equally structured workstations work the same way, but microstation is more “workstation” while the ps60 looks a bit more like a “trident” kind of synth,.. there’s even a 16track sequencer on the microstation.
2 LFOs + Global LFO, not ultrafast, 2 ENVs, 2 OSCs, so it is a nice little workstation small in size but nothing “special”. hmm, nothing? no, it’s smaller! even japanese ppl with just 5qm room might be happy to have a nice neat instrument for “everything”. here’s the menu structure and I show my hands to show YOU the size, especially the 5 oct-mini key Korg Microstation.

Hier Eindrücke von unserem Stand – Dem Synthesizer-Magazin Stand.
Hier zu sehen: Bernd Kistenmacher und Stefan Erbe mit Live-Darbietungen, eine DJ Performance mit dem SP555 und diverse Bilder vom Helmstronic Challenger mit ihrem Entwickler. Klaus von und mit seinen Memotron-Modellen, Frank mit dem Schrauber Sequencer und daneben das MFB-Set zum selbst ausprobieren.
Später kam noch der Gotharman De-moon dazu, der jetzt rauscharm ist, neue Algorithmen hat und extrem klein ist.

Impressions of the new Rhozome synth/sequencer – in fact it is a dual core computer with step sequencer up to 64 patterns, plugins (comes with a lot of plugins like Minimonsta and Ohmforce filters, so you may start with it immediately), allows other stuff, since it is XP E (for embedded) as OS, 18kilos, dynamic pads, and freely assignable to unlimited real time track length. there’s still room for more, so do not expect it to be the final specs, but that’s what was shown. a very nice piano roll real time edit. that allows to “draw” notes with the endless encoders that are also push buttons and finally nice ppl. – you can easily move start / end point of loops in the grid and more. plus the classic chase light sequencing stuff.
Other Systems: Lemurs new software controlling Live and OpenLabs PC-based Systems..

more Pics, Eigenharp, a strange controller that seems to have such a sensor like the Accelerator that tracks it’s “3D Position”. Waldorfs new Sample-12Bit PPG Wave Plugin, the very cool Prosoniq (not really showing the new tool, but to me the most amazing extraction tool – sonicworx little brother – removes anything in an existing audio file. The large Tango controller and the new final Origin design form Arturia

MFB Synths – Zwerg Series.. (awesome sounding, but just the size of just a part of your hand)
and the electron octatrack, which is an interesting “Loop Player” 64GB from SD Cards – quite like a very very extended electribe slicer

So, bald geht es los – Ab zur Musikmesse, ich werde natürlich am Synthesizer-Magazin Stand sein direkt neben Roland UNTEN in der Halle 5.0, Standnummer C48. Werde besonders FR und SA meist immer da sein, MI/DO auch selbst rumlaufen und natürlich immer wieder zum SynMag Stand kommen, ich wohn ja da. Wir werden am Stand den Challenger Synthesizer zeigen und einige MFB Prototypen, vielleicht noch mehr..
Rest via Twitter, Facebook, Forum und hier. Bilder, Videos etc. kommen sobald es geht. Werde alle Berichte mit Musikmesse: in der Titelleiste bezeichnen.
