Arturia create new Audio Interfaces – this one is just blah, nothing special – they say it is next generation – they talk about preamps – there has not been any interface with 24 analog inputs with just this and 8 outputs maybe including CVs as well – that might be interesting, since they also make analog synths. but well – just a teaser – will update this when they put it up.. This modular has not only a sequencer, it is also capable of something others did for the iPad output like BruteLFO – but they are mostly limited to one CV which is not that much for such an expensive desire like the iPad – so zMors can address 8 outputs and control analog synths via multiport audio interfaces – so the trick is – get a nice interface – and here’s what to do: expert sleepers ES3 is also working with the iPad when using this super tiny ADAT interface…

Daniel Miller showing Minimoog, Pro One, TR 808 / 909 and even the Anyware Tinysizer (which will be sold out these days – he’s making a new synth btw – shown on the last modular synth meeting – but not being a modular..) – well- there is more – polivoks, System 100m and SE1X along with Microwave and Matrix 1000 by Oberheim and Arp Sequencer. there it is – another modular knob, slider and knobs addition for iPad. here you got a case where all controls are added to and the iPad inserted below so the display can shine through – but – well – makes everything else a bit hard to control – so it might not be a perfect solution but allows to display things.. designed by Florian Born it looks totally cool – sort of steampunk style.. B-Step is a Sequencer (mentioned here before) that runs on almost deny platform and now it’s going into it’s second round – version 2. here’s the updates and there is a lot of stuff going in like „roll/flam“ in another way – this time called ratcheting (the older word for playing some steps faster) has several new modes that allow song construction and complex polyrhythmic stuff. the trick is: it is a 4 row sequencer but you can set a number of chords / scales to it and switch them…
