it had to happen – the Roland TR707 as an app – oh, guys – I used this thing for quite a time to sync up MIDI and other stuff like the Roland TR808 , and now there’s this – remember Frontline Assembly, Skinny Puppy (Mind TPI, also used the Roland TR727 on that album), Klinik and others – especially with Detroit Techno – there’s a lot of track out made of these sounds – but slightly pricey for an app – 3,99€. but well – I told you – you decide. App Store – mobileRhythm mR-7070 vintage drum machine…

Circuit Synth — tiny modular synthesizer for iPhone and iPod touch. very simple modular synth, iPhone only, but a nice idea.. Design your own instrument by wiring up simple modules. Included are three kinds of oscillators (sine wave, square wave, and sawtooth wave), a noise generator, and modules for combining and modifying signals. Dabble in techniques like additive synthesis and frequency modulation just by choosing different arrangements and wirings. that video has been removed by the developer himself, so .. don’t know how it feels like, yet. other modular concepts…

Love the Eventide H-Series? You may get those as a plugin – will be $149 and $99 for the H3000 and the Blackhole stomp box as a plugin incl all standard plugins they had in the hardware. – blackhole is a delay while the H3000 does everything from reverb to harmonizing. DM Dock Drum Module Dock for iPad. and the AmpDock Multi-Effects Guitar Processor for iPad got special addition to the well known IO Dock – Lots of Drum Trigger inputs for drummers or guitar input and foot pedal with switches and knobs – for guitarists. the drum one has 2 knobs, the guitar one 6 of them. nice to have those added.

MPC add-on for iPads. I really wondered how to really play pads on the iPad, this solutions seems cool and suitable, and adds sort of mini MPC via the App. don’t know how close to what? MPC500? even the MPC1000?.. Release Summer, the app will be ready before – but it’s $299 – compared a bit pricey, looks like this is more a MPC500 or MPC2000…

hmm, really wondering how they could make the iPad do 48 audio tracks and very close to DAW-editing like this – and those EQ and compressor look really cool, don’t know if they sound as good as I’d expect. But it has it’s price, to me the highest known for apps ever – $50. they even talk about VST Plugins and one being from PSP. I am not sure… but well – I did not find it on the Appstore,. maybe it’s not real? but it looks cool… especially compared…
