this magic little thing gives you more than 2 audio outputs. I don’t see more than 2 ins and outs here, but well – there is USB Host in there.but they say featuring six stereo in / outs, headphone out, two USB ports, a „hub-able“ USB host, Ethernet / network sharing and MIDI pass-thru. so if that’s true and it’s supportet by iOs Core Audio this is WOW! iConnectivity outs iConnectMUSE digital audio mixer for iOSers (video) — Engadget. a mixer or real multiport? hmm..

Xils Lab is known for their Synthesizers modeled after classic synthesizers, here’s a new one – a stereo delay – the special thing with is (hence the name): this delay only acts on some sections, others that are „masked“ will NOT have the delay on, most of it is based on rhythm and time signature and a sort of sequencer to get it all done. delays are of course modulated etc. there are envelopes as well, so this is about a very controlled automated delay with some „intelligence“. • True…

new drum tr-style sequencer since it is based on DCAM the sound should be really good, – do you remember Synthsquad? So if you do – this is based on the same technology, but of course as a drumsynth (simpler). it’s a polyrhythmic drumcomputer with tr-style step sequencer – each track can start at a different position and so you have it – flexible beats. really hope the steps can be set via controller (genereic like launchpad..)

you need to register, but it’s free. this is a synth, that samples a sounds (looks like it is sort of algorithmically?) so you can say it instantly samples any sound and „converts“ it into something playable without being a real audio sample actually. sounds strange? the last time I heard about things like this was, when Technos Acxel Digital Synthesizer was released – but does not look exactly like it – don’t know what „they“ have used (Stefan Schmitt, the founder of NI programmed it). – so maybe try it out .. now the Animoog is also available for iPhone – seems be bought separately 79 cent, so it’s not expensive. since it’s one of the really better ones .. this could be a nice rack expander – compared to the iPad, right ;)
