Yamaha’s Tenori On App „TNR-i“ has just got a nice update (which is free for users – as always): you can now record (!) and share audio and assign user audio – the samples for tenori-on must be unter 5 seconds long (maybe because there is not real envelope – it’s a quite simple drum player kind of sample handling) – anyway – now it can also be sync’ed by WIST – that’s a WLAN/Wifi synch tool that some of us know from Korgs instruments. nice, that Yamaha and Korg…

WRONG SPEED ON PODCASTS IN THE MUSIC APP? (iPad only, caused by upgrade from 4.X) I had a lot of problems since iOS 5 to play podcasts at normal speed (some got 1/2 or 2x speed and since there is no more choice on the iPad to set it to other „speeds“ – there is just one solution: 1) go to the Settings > General > Reset > Reset all Settings – it will delete every Wifi passwords and settings as well (start screen, how many emails to load etc.) important…

Phaedra for iPad on the iTunes App Store

I just bought this little sequencer – called Phaedra for iPad on the iTunes App Store. it’s simple but nice – try to beef up the micokorgs lacking modsequencer ;) – it’s 4 tracks 32 steps (not that much, but for a modulation thing it’s ok)..

Apple is kind of strange, from now they sell Logic Pro 9 for 150€ and Main Stage 2 for 24€, of course it’s smaller (430MB). So Logic X might be one step closer, and since they actually SELL Logic Pro 9 it looks a LOT like a completely new non compatible Logic Pro X coming sooner or later. App Store – Lemur is back, I knew it had to come, it comes fairly late – after touchOSC and MIDItouch it might be hard since it’s 40€ which is really a lot. I tried a Lemur in 2006 and it was reviewed in Synthesizer-Magazin #2, the second issue ever made but had to sell it to pay my bills to move to another „yet cheaper“ house.
