Dax & Winston Groove Engine MIDI-CV 256-Step-Sequencer

240€ kostet die Beteiligung für dieses Sequencer-Projekt, also außerordentlich günstig. Es handelt sich um einen 256-Step Sequencer mit MIDI und CV  von Miles Thatch. Es ist ein Step-Sequencer mit Akkordauswahlmöglichkeit und Steps, die offenbar auch lange Töne zulassen, normalerweise ist das ein Problem wenn man längere Ambient-Akkorde oder Töne setzt, da die meisten Sequencer mit Step-Programmierung selten mehr als 8 Takte erlauben. Wie das so dermaßen billig gehen kann ist fraglich.

UPDATE: Inszwischen gibt es nur noch Preise ab $599 = 411€., bis dahin etwa 240€.
Das Gerät hat ein OLED Display. Vielleicht etwas naiv gestartet? Muss man abwarten.

This (crowd) funding for 240€ (350 Canadian Dollars) could make this 256 Step Sequencer happen. it has MIDI and CV. After a while it went up to 411€ which is still cheap.

patterns can be repeated or just switched. not sure: is real time recording possible? I believe not. Anyway – making this machine for that price looks very very hard to achieve.
