Grid Composer – Sequencer (like Tenori-On, TR, step)

Grid Composer is a new sequencer system.

you got three 8×8 grids. they all play melodies from just a few „instruments“ – now you set these blocks and the grid starts playing and „rotating“ – which is shown in a very loveable way – it’s playing the same structure vertically and horizontally – to adjust the tuning you need to tap on those bars on the left right in the detail view.

and yes – this reminds me of the Tenori-On – since it does not just use the classic TR-style sequencing – so Grid Composer is somewhere in between – I’d hope for more „modes“ and it has MIDI, so you can control some synths with it – maybe the best you can do here..

and you can set those 3 things – volume, harmony (notes) and tempo (that’s clock division) for each seq-grid.
