Bitwig Studio is in here, it may look like a normal Maschine, but is is really just Bitwig in use here, looks very interesting to us grooveboxers, right? So there’s something in the making that may be able to be controlled by „any“ controller.. something I put on my wishlist years ago.. -> UPDATE:  26.3.2014 is the time when Bigwig will be released and the price be announced. also will be shown at NAMM 2014 – and the Musikmesse is also right there (12-15.3.)  UPDATE 2: CDM says it’ll be 299€…

TECUSB MIDI Breath Controller.it should be „USB-MIDI“ … is a very dongle’ish looking USB Stick which is in fact the „replacement“ for Yamahas BC3, they (Tecusb) say. they got a new algorithm, and .. well – it’s better than everything. this is for computers, not for synths, so – it’s not exatly a replacement, but saves MIDI-Interface connection and possibly works fine, I did not has my lips on it so far. it is NOT meant to be plugged to MIDI Synths but to the computer since synth would need…

Mal wieder muss man nachdenken, ob nicht die klassischen Video-Abspieler ein wenig zu dick geworden sind. Bei dem einen sind sie ein aufgeblähter Shop mit Abspielfunktion (Mac/OS X), beim anderen dient das eigenbaute Abspieltool nicht einmal die Möglichkeit 24 Bit Audio abszuspielen (PC/Win). Deshalb ist grade frisch zum heutigen Update/Release der Version 2.05 die Arbeit mit dem VLC Player sicher eine Alternative. Diesen für beide Plattformen passenden Video und Audioplayer würde ich wegen seiner Open Source Natur den Vorzug zu geben. Er spielt auch OGG und andere Formate ab und kommt mit allen…

Since the polysix is already a software on Kronos/Oasys and this little thing, it is now APPetized, hope for the Mono/Poly to come as well. KORG iPolysix for iPad mini & iPad that rather obvious naming does not mention, that this one has a sequencer! Not cheap – till Dec 2012 – 14€, after that double price! note that modulation sequencer.
