Fragen zu V-Station - Filter - Mod Env

Hallo,

kann mir mal jemand die Funktionsweise vom Mod Env Knob der V-Station erklären?

Ich kannte bisher nur die klassischen Filter-Einstellungen (Cut, Reso, ADSR, Amount).

Oder ist der Mod Env Knob sozusagen der Amount?

MOD ENV Knob
Controls the amount of change to the filter cutoff (set by the FREQUENCY knob) by the Modulation Envelope.

In its central position there is no change to the filter cutoff frequency.

Adjusting the knob clockwise from centre will introduce an increasing amount of positive modulation - the cutoff will rise through the MOD ENV’s attack and will fall through the MOD ENV’s subsequent decay and release stages.

Die Mov Env ADSR haben auch keinen Effekt solange man nicht Mod Env z.B. nach links dreht und den Cutoff zu.

Cutoff zu + Mod Env Knob rechts + Mod Env Decay 50% ergibt halt diesen typischen schnellen kurzen Filterbass.

Mit dem mod env Poti bestimmst Du die Tiefe der Modulation.

Das ist doch das selbe! Nur dass man diese Hüllkurve auch auf andere Ziele routen kann, weshalb hier statt Filterhüllkurve eben Modulationshüllkurve als Wortschöpfung auf dem Gerät prangt.

Die ModEnv ist für Filter Modulation und Pitch Modulation, eine für beides. Der Amount Regler für PitchMod ist der jeweilige in der Oszillator Sektion, der Amount Regler für FilterMod ist der in der Filter Sektion. Rechtsherum (im Uhrzeigersinn) ist ne positive Modulation, linksherum ist ne negative Modulation...

Nachtrag: Achja, für PWM Modulation per Hüllkurve ist die ModEnv auch zuständig. Env im PWM Bereich des Oszillators auswählen, und Intensität über Regler einstellen...
