Novation MiniNova factory patches terug zetten?

Ik heb een tweedehands MiniNova op de kop getikt. De vorige eigenaar heeft de geluid-banken gevuld met zijn eigen patches. Nu wil ik die weer terugzetten naar factory-settings, omdat ik alle vocoder-patches mis. Aangesloten aan de Mac met de MiniNova Librarian software, laat dit programma zien...

The easiest thing to do is just to perform a factory reset on the Mininova itself.

To do this please hold down the following buttons

"<" + "OK" + ">"

Then plug in the USB lead to power the device. You should see "Exit to firmware" on the device so press the Page > untill you see "Factory Reset" then press OK twice and it will reset.

MIDI-Interface ist hier nicht eingebaut. Im Prinzip ist ein MIDI-Interface ein eigenständiges Interface. Wenn im USB-Audio-Interface mit eingebaut, spart man sich einen weiteren USB-Anschluss, den man für ein gesondertes USB-MIDI-Interface extra belegen würde.

Ok, dann werde ich wohl noch etwas tiefer in die Tasche greifen müssen.

Es könnte aber auch sein, dass ein separates USB-MIDI-Interface an einem separaten USB-Anschluss besseres Timing hätte, wenn der andere USB-Anschluss tatsächlich unabhängig ist. Es käme dabei natürlich auf die USB-Generation im Interface und im Computer an. Außerdem gibt es MIDI-Interfaces mit mehr als 1 In / 1 Out. Dort kann man dann mehrere MIDI-Geräte anschließen. Andererseits hat die Mehrheit der aktuellen Geräte wie Synthesizer, Grooveboxen etc. MIDI per USB schon eingebaut.
