I live in Hannover where Haendel was the Director of Music for the Elector from Hannover Georg Ludwig. Georg Ludwig was later crowned as „George I“ to the King of Great Britain. Haendel followed his King to England and composed the „Watermusic“ for the crowning ceremony in London. Watermusic because the King arrived to the crowning ceremy via boat on the river thames in London. Sorry for my bad english.
