Korg SyncKontrol for Monotribe + iMS20/Tribe App

this free app syncs all other Korg Apps and Monotribes, as you can see there is tap tempo, swing 50-75% and a „Wist“ button to sync and start/stop all up with Monotribe and iDevices. how it works? well it outputs simple triggers to audio which is sync’ing the tribes, so don’t think about magic, it just works like those old days. you’d still need converters to trigger most analog gear. KORG SyncKontrol for monotribe for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store.

Lion also OS X 10.7. wird 29€ kosten, nur über den Appstore ab Juli. 4GB download. KEINE DVD und „Kein Reboot nach Installation“ – hmm. Keine neuen Funktionen seit der bekannten Vorstellung vor ein paar Monaten. Aber praktischer und durchaus nützlich im Handling ist es schon sehr. Abschied von einer Menge alter Editoren und Software aus Musikersicht sicher ein Problem (Sounddiver, div. MIDI Editoren..) – da PPC und älterer Code abgekündigt. 32Bit und PPC und damit auch die Dualcore Intels werden übrigens eh von Lion nicht unterstützt. Die frühen Intel-Books…

I skipped some versions from 3.7 – but 3.7 is up now, so there’s lots of bug fixes and it’s more compatible, since I currently got 2 Novation Devices it’s strange, that it still only recognises one of those but realises 2. hmm, let’s try.. they say – reboot before starting it. recently I got some problems with the SL and Live showing the parameter names of plugins like before. will check this out now. Mein Lieblingsbegriff von Apple oder besser noch Apple-Fanseiten ist „Apple aktualisiert die Liste der nicht mehr unterstützten Geräte“. So auch bei OS X Lion, der Löwe unter den Betriebssystemen. Da sind PowerPCs nicht mehr dabei und die ersten Intel Macbooks, denn die laufen alle noch 32bittig und das verBITtet sich Apple. Soviel dazu, inzwischen sind zum Löwen neue Erkenntnisse gekommen, oft Details. Die wichtigsten sind im vorigen Post bereits beschrieben und im Forum.
