Not sure where I should be asking this. I;m looking to get my Roland VP-330 Vocoder fixed up. The carrier sound is bleeding over when I vocoder.

but I think you need some service, then..

there is ofter some sort of dry/wet control.. (ok, thats silly.. perhaps it is good to know)..

Thanks for the reply. I have e-mailed all links and got no answer yet. Yeah when I vocode I can hear the waveform just a little when I talk. Don;t sound that bad on lower notes but on higher notes its shows bad. I just got vocoder and guy said it has been sitting up for 15 years without any use. So I;m pretty sure it is something simple but there is no old school tech in my area. Thanks for any help. Maybe I can make an mp3 and show you what I;m talking about.

I just sent my vocoder to Dallas (www.audioelectronics.com).

I just sent my vocoder to Dallas (www.audioelectronics.com). The tech their has fixed a few of these with the same problem. So I feel a lot better now.

Did you get in touch with Tom Moravansky at synthservices.com? Tom is located in Maryland, and I´d get in touch with him first. Even if he can´t fix carrier bleedthrough on a VP 330 (which should be an easy fix), he may know someone who can.
