Apples Mac Pro wurde lang diskutiert. Nun bringt ihn irgendein schräges EU Gesetz zu Fall. Bis Ende Februar kann man ihn noch kaufen, danach ist Schluss. Der Verkauf geht dann nur noch außerhalb der EU. Damit ist kein „Pro“ Rechner mehr erhältlich bis Apple sich bequemt neue Mac Pros zu bringen, die auch kranken Richtlinien der EU genüge tun. there have been quite a lot of interesting things at NAMM, see all the 2-3 pages of news – here’s a new Apple-Keyboard-kind of MINI USB Keyboard from CME with polyphonic Aftertouch and Dynamics for $99 .. also Behringer got a range of Mixers that also work as an audio interface in 4 sizes – as a small 19″ rack, a bigger one like the Yamaha 01V96 and the 2 X32 mixers with OLED displays for track names and full knob control – they are all iPad controllable as well…

Introducing the Prophet 12 Synthesizer – Dave Smith Instruments, could be 2.8€’ish.. Not just a Prophet 08 plus 4 voices, there are some things added, .. distortion at end and in between, delay/feedback added.. it’s the best synth yet, Dave says – and it has FM and AM knobs! which is important. and those nice 2 touch faders in it as well. at 3:07 – cool feedback sound! –> Prophet 12 Hybrid Synthesizer..
