Factorsynth – Machine Learning Sound Dekonstruktion!
Factorsynth erkennt Strukturen und Sounds innerhalb eines Audiofiles und zeigt sie alle einzeln an, jetzt kann man zB eine Hihat oder ein Geräusch, was man nicht möchte entfernen. Dazu kann man ein File dazu laden, welches quasi die Rhythmik der erkannten Elemente übernimmt und dafür diesen neuen Sound einrechnet.
Das ist als Max for Live – Plugin für knapp 62€ zu haben, bisher hat sowas ein Vermögen gekostet. Sehr super für Field Recorder und Remixer, sehr spannend, bisher kannte ich nur Prosoniq Sonic Worx Iso – das arbeitete so:
Factorsynth can isolate all single Sounds and Instruments from a single audio file – it shows all of it’s findings as separate waveforms and you can then click and remove them – the other audio file is additional and can be applied like one of those instrument „tracks“ that you never recorded – so it works fine for remixers and those who don’t want any sound in your field recording as soon as the software finds out. the only tool that was capable of things like that was prosoniq Isolate – here’s a demo of 2010 – it needed the most powerful Mac at that time – .. this time it is a max 4 live tool so it may not use all the power to the fullest but it works..

Es war nicht billig aber sehr sehr interessant – auch die Abspielleiste unten allein war so hochwertig, so gut war damals kein Granulartool – das war vor 8 Jahren. jetzt gibt es das hier – Prosoniq play bar was unique as well – it was without artefacts but it’s main idea is this one – in Factor Synth:
