販売完了製品｜KORG INC.. says my beloved Electribes (SX and MX) are officially discontinued? I heard some very vague rumours there might be something coming. I am not happy to say, that also the Volca series isn’t at all anything like a replacement as well as the Gadget App which are nice but not even close complete – the real thing on tribes was – you could make your music incl samples and had enough tracks to make it work – more is nice – polyphony as well and dynamics as well. but…

is it real? it is for 150€ per machine – this is going around in the blogs.. like: matrixsynth would you love one of these? one 3 osc’ed synth, another for poly arrangement, all with real time automation (motion sequence) and the analog drum machine, the synths are equipped with MS20 filters. siehe auch: Forum • Korgs Evolution? the new small MS20 mini is not a fake, it appeared on the Korg.de Site and it seems analog and unchanged, so it’s all analog and controlled by Hertz/V CV. so it is true, it will come for about the price the original Ms20 was sold.. but… no 800€ is cheaper. BUT IT HAS USB and MIDI! $600 street price they say. Since the polysix is already a software on Kronos/Oasys and this little thing, it is now APPetized, hope for the Mono/Poly to come as well. KORG iPolysix for iPad mini & iPad that rather obvious naming does not mention, that this one has a sequencer! Not cheap – till Dec 2012 – 14€, after that double price! note that modulation sequencer.
