looks like some sort of changes are done – Korgs Mono/Poly can be ordered for Reason – maybe this makes a start to establish a new plug-culture für reason? or just once? – the Mono/Poly may appear as an App sooner or later as well – I’d expect.. MonoPoly – Shop – Propellerhead.

it just looks nice (MonoPoly/Polysix inspired) – maybe by these apps: Photoshop, Pixelmator, Acorn 4… . why do I tell you? well Adobe went another bad way, 50€/month for just using the Creative Suite, so – maybe it’s time to look around you, huh? Acorn 4 and Pixelmator are more on the PS Elements Level, but some of us may be ok with those for making covers, flyers etc.. I am using Elements 10 right now, but if they force us to be „in the cloud“ for „only XY dollars/month“…

Free Tube Amp Windows and OS X – there are more plugins but for Windows only. Nick Crow Lab: TubeDriver v1.22 for Windows (VST) and Mac OS X (VST&AU). • Moogs Filtertron for iPad is free as well for very limited time. it’s a filter, not a whole synth. note the internal input is limited to 100Hz and above. Anyway a good sounding tool when connected via audio interface

there have been quite a lot of interesting things at NAMM, see all the 2-3 pages of news – here’s a new Apple-Keyboard-kind of MINI USB Keyboard from CME with polyphonic Aftertouch and Dynamics for $99 .. also Behringer got a range of Mixers that also work as an audio interface in 4 sizes – as a small 19″ rack, a bigger one like the Yamaha 01V96 and the 2 X32 mixers with OLED displays for track names and full knob control – they are all iPad controllable as well…

Element By Waves. is nothing special – a 2 OSCed 4 LFO synth with all you might expect but nothing too special except it is from waves – well known for their production tools and quite hard dongled (iLok’ed) and expensive bundles. But well – they’re good at what they’re doing.. has a sequencer/arpeggiator as well and they went for Jordan Rudess to put his name under it.. Forum: Waves stellt ersten Synth vor…. ein Standard VA, aber von Waves ist nun unterwegs. 2 OSCs, 4 LFOs, Standard Filter und Arp/Sequencer.
