Modifikation Behringer TD-3 Modding!

Ich glaube ich habe den Fehler gefunden: ich habe für die Rubber mod die Anweisung „in the case of the pics below, this is the lower leg of C51“ falsch verstanden und das zweite Bein vom Elko an tp7 gelötet. Beim entlöten hat sich mir aber der andere lötpunkt (botttom of D22) von der Platine gelöst :/
Wo müsste/könnte ich den Punkt von der anderen Seite der Platine erreichen??

Wobei, ist klar: an D22. Bottom ist die untere Lötstelle

Frage: sollte man lieber bleifrei löten oder geht auch noch das althergebrachte Lötizinn? Hab auch nur nen Standard-Lötkolben ohne Temperatur-Einstellung. Reicht das aus?

Ich würde sagen, das hängt davon ab, ob du hinterher noch an den Lötstellen lecken möchtest und wie lange.

Oder anders gesagt: Mal ehrlich, warum sollte man das vorhandene Lötzinn wegwerfen? Meinst du es tut der Umwelt gut, wenn du das alte entsorgst und neues kaufst? Ich gehe davon aus, du machst das für dich persönlich, ansonsten ist die Aussage natürlich so "nicht ganz richtig".

Hopefully anyone can advice me further with the hollow square mod ..I have read several different ways of doing this mod .I have removed the R189 and added a 50k potentiometer pictures attached. Unless I have misunderstood the process the square sounds the same as my unmodded TD3 after I find the sweet spot on the potentiometer. Is there something I missed out on?
Looking forward to some expert advice

Die Pulsweite/hollow allein? Keine Ahnung, gern mal einfach so über nen Espresso, wenn es eh vorort ist - ibk stadt :). Im Mai noch eher busy, aber maile mich gern mal über meine webseite an.

Absolutely clean work and goal achieved

Fynkyberlin from that yt vid sent me this - havent tried it, so cant say much about it, but think it makes sense if you dint want to desolder r189. With out pot, this is nicely reversible too. Feel free to up on fb and gs too since you brought itup there :)

Bin noch nicht ganz finito damit, aber 560nf zwischen tp4 (nähe soft attack poti) und masse geht schonmal ganz gut. Im endeffekt ist das clab (pin1) vom ba662 klon. Durch den grausligen soft attack mod läuft das an der äquivalenten stelle zur ollen td3 auf klicken raus.

Die moser ist im grund schon nicht ganz so ruckelig staccato wie die andere. Psu mod wirkt sich auch stärker aus. Paar sachen sind nett aber einige der mods sind nicht ganz meins.

Gerade über Kopfhörer nimmt man das geklicke sehr gut/störend wahr.
Verstärkt sich noch, wenn man ne gemoddete TD3 zum Vergleich ran zieht.

Wunder mich das erst jetzt langsam Bewegung reinkommt, da etwas zu modden.
Hin zu weicheren Sound.

jo, per kopfhörer krass... dachte erst, ich hätte was verballert, da ich nen op-amp ausgetauscht hatte, der für die 5.33/12V zuständig ist. richtig gummi kommt vielleicht noch, aber mit tp4 per 560nf-1uf gegen masse, klickt es schon weniger.

mehr kommt dann evtl noch, wenn ich etwas weniger k.o. vom dayjob bin. paar der existierenden mods sind auch nicht so meine (reso kreischt, aua, ffm von vca out - von filter out find ich netter, und so). positiv überrascht hat mich das muffler ding, daß erst zur geltung kommt, wenn man laut wird - geht richtung vca crunch. die implementierung des subs macht mir kopfzerbrechen - VIER ganz ICs im spiel (zwei davon, um ne gebiasste square zu haben, die das flip-flop dann antreibt ((einfacher transistor hätte wohl genügt)) aber keine gescheite lautstärkenkontrolle.. nun ja, kann man sich ja umabauen :)

ja, seltsam, dass sich niemand vorher rangemacht zu haben scheint. an meiner moser polemik mekrt man vielleicht auch, weshalb es bei mir gedauert hat...

Hier noch was für Leute mit Affinität zur Flohhusthörung :) Mir ging schon immer (meistens mehr als weniger) die schrille Resonanz der TD3 auf die Ohren und ich denke, das liegt mehr an den drei dual SMD NPN (in der og 303 sind das ungematchte npn paare) als an irgendwelchen magischen kondensatoren. War mal so crazy und hab T34, T35 und T36 durch einfache BC550B gewechselt. Hier ein grober Vergleich...

Here's something for people with an affinity for hearing flea coughs. :) The shrill resonance of the TD3 has always annoyed me (mostly more than less) and I think that's more due to the three dual SMD NPNs (in the og 303 these are unmatched NPN pairs) than to any magical capacitors. I was crazy enough to replace T34, T35 and T36 with simple BC550Bs. Here's a rough comparison...

Hey! Both are td3-mo. Second clip has stock transistors replaced with single npn pairs (check schem below for equivalent parts on the 303). Not an easy mod since you need to pull out 3x sot23-6 package transistor pairs and fit 6 new single transistors. The filter ladder being placed very close to the vco waveform switch doesn‘t help either… could be a bit easier on a stock td3 but this is not like the easier tweaks like rubber, accent slew etc…


other mods on this unit here are psu, vca control amount (check here https://maffez.com/?page_id=4682) but that reso a/b only sports differences in regard to the filter ladder transistors. as in the writeup: i think that makes more of a difference than using through hole caps - the 303 clones i find nicest in terms of reso use single npn here too (xoxheart, mam mb33 retro, tt303 mk1, tb-EFA)
