Ach was, gibt auch Gründe sowas einfach mitzuschützen, allein schon damit niemand eine "Model D" Software raushaut, ist ja klar.
Ausserdem - wenn Moog tatsächlich ne SW raushauen würde wär die Enttäuschung ja nicht meine Schuld...

Mein Tip: Model D Reissue, siehe Markeneintrag weiter oben und Sub 37 Stage Edition, mit der gleichen Sch...tastatur, und neue 500er Module. Mehr kann so ne kleine Firma kaum wuppen.

Model D Reissue wird dann anstatt Little Phatty im Programm sein, mit Speicher und Midi und DCOs. Voyager klingt natürlich anders, hat ja statt nur einem sogar ZWEI Filter, wobei der eine als HPF geschaltet werden kann. Mod Bus ist auch umfangreicher beim Voyager.

MOOG hat keine DCOs, das hat dir doch schon mal wer hier erklärt Menno...

Original Mini geht gar nicht, weil diverse Bauteile gar nicht mehr erhältlich sind, daher die Schaltungen müssten auf jeden Fall überarbeitet werden. Und dann ist es ja das Original nicht mehr. Außerdem glaube ich nicht, dass Moog sich damit einen Konkurrenten zum Voyager selbst ins Haus holen möchte. Eurorack könnte ich mir gut vorstellen, mit dem Filter für das 500er Rack haben sie ja schon angefangen.

Ein Sub37-Rack wäre cool. Mit der Option, mehrere davon dann als Polysynth stacken zu können. Der Slim Phatty ist ja abgekündigt, es wäre eigentlich logisch sowas als Nachfolger zu machen. [Wunschzettelmodus aus]

Es wäre an sich schön wenn sich irgend ein Hersteller bequemen würde und mal wieder nen Synth für's Rack bauen täte. Aber das scheint ja mitlerweile völlig aus der Mode zu sein. Den gedanken dass sie den Sub37 für's Rack bauen halt ich allerdings für realistisch. Das kann aber nun nicht die Sache sein die man so fett ankündigt.

Das müsste schon ein Synthie (Software/Hardware) oder Drumkiste sein

An diesen Superlativen reagiere ich gar nicht mehr...Dave Smith sagt bei jedem neuen Synthesizer "the best synth i ever did". Une zwei-drei Jahre später ist es schon nicht mehr "the best".

Aber es ist trotzdem schön wenn Moog etwas Neues präsentiert.

Memorymoog Nachfolger
Ein Digitaler Moog mit ganz neuer Synthese
etc.

Wahrscheinlicher ist was in der Region Minimoog Model D als iPad App

war wohl die letzte Entwicklung von Moog vor dem Konkurs. Lief auch nicht komplett. Teile der Technik waren abgedeckt außerhalb des Prototyps angebracht
hat was von einem poly-source. mir würde ein poly-Little phatty gut gefallen ; -)

Hello all,

My name is Jake and I'm the owner of Humbucker Music. Just so you know the reasoning behind our post, I asked our marketing guy (who is also our website and photography guy) to make an announcement in some synth forums about the upcoming news from Moog. While it is indeed designed to get people to sign up for our Moog Club (not our normal newsletter, just the Moog Club newsletter), the main purpose is absolutely not just that. There really is something extremely cool that's going to be announced by Moog on Monday. Surf Green Voyager? That literally made me laugh out loud when I read that. Not a bad guess coming from us, but that's not it. I have a confidentially agreement with Moog, so I can't reveal too much, but I'll give a few hints just for the fun of it.

1) It's not exclusive to Humbucker Music at all, but it will not be available to all Moog dealers. Only a select few.
2) It's definitely not for everyone.
3) It's not another Voyager.
4) It's not a drum machine, but I would like that to happen so much it's not funny!

As for who we are, Humbucker Music is primarily a high end guitar and amp shop who also sells Moog Music products. We have been a dealer since 2000 (the Big Briar days) and have consistently been one of the top dealers in the country. Truth is, I own 3 guitars, but I have about 25 vintage and newer synths. Amps are even more of a passion, but that's a different story. I'm afraid if I count them my wife will find out. I keep them hidden the best I can. haha!

Anyway, I don't know if it means anything to any of you, but I just thought I'd fill you in a little more about us and the reason for the post. Thanks for reading this far!

Oh, and we're waiting on a new shipment of t-shirts. They were a little more popular than we anticipated. Heck, an XS won't even fit on my arm.

Beim Minitaur, SubPhatty und Sub 37 bin ich mir nicht so sicher. Klingt jedenfalls nach DCO.

With a saw-core VCO, a processor is completely not needed... if there is one, then it's just turning up and down a voltage that controls how fast the oscillator is oscillating. This is what the Voyager uses, also the Little Phatty, also the Minitaur and Sub Phatty and Sub 37.

The fact that a "digital" processor was involved in setting what voltage the pitch CV should be, does not turn a VCO into a DCO.

I hope this helps. There is no need for any hand-waving or spin when it comes to Moog oscillators; they are classic VCOs in the tradition of Bob Moog, with the same basic kind of pitch control that has been in use since the days of the Source and the Memorymoog, only with better resolution and tuning accuracy.

Dass die nichts verschenken ist schon klar, aber so Sachen wie ein vergoldeter Voyager zum Beispiel, sind für mich halt dann doch eher uninteressant.
