Modifikation Korg EX-8000 Delay Audio-In Modifikation möglich?

Ich hatte bei meinem alten DW8000 einen Delay In Mod bereits eingebaut, bei dem man ein Audio Signal direkt in das lustige Digital Delay des DW speisen konnte. Weiss zufällig jemand, ob man diesen Mod beim EX8000 ebenso durchführen kann? Dumm wie ich war, habe ich die Schaltung beim Verkauf nicht abgepinnt...

The audio input is quite easy since all voices share a common input for the noise source.

The input goes at the junction of C65, R60 and IC14. You should go through a 10-33k resistor (for line signals) and 10uF electro. You'd want to install a high value (1meg) pulldown resister across the jack too. I am installing an audio taper pot and on/off switch just above the bender joystick because at these values the input is a little hot (but overdriving sounds great).

It's actually really easy. I sacrificed the program up pedal input for the jack, pulled C3 on the connections board (normally shorts high frequencies coming in the pgm up input to ground) and replaced it with a 1 meg pulldown resistor (cobbled together from 333k resistors, so it may look a bit weird in the picture). I pulled the right leg of R7, which normally connects the signal from the pgm up input to the next area on the PCB and in its place put the conductors of a shielded wire to the + leg of C65 on the voice board (the shielding on the wire is soldered to the ground leg of the 1 Mohm resistor I put in, not sure if the shielding is necessary). That's pretty much it, though i'm going to try putting in a 1k resistor between the wire and C65 b/c right now the external signal is very loud relative to the oscillators.

This mod inserts the signal at the noise generator, which is routed to all 8 filters, so you don't need to solder connections to all 8 voices. Nice and easy.

Ich hatte ebenfalls den DW8000 mit dem externen Eingang für das Delay und die Speichererweiterung. Könnt mich jetzt noch in Arsch beißen den aus Platzmangel verkauft zu haben.

jaha, das geht. Ich habe hier einen EX8000 mit Audio-In und Speichererweiterung. Allerdings habe ich das nicht selbst gemacht, sondern das Gerät so vor vielen Jahren gekauft. Deshalb kann ich da leider keine praktischen DIY-Tipps geben.

Das mit dem Noise ist zwar für anderen Sachen lustig, aber für den Delaygebrauch quatsch, weil dann das gesamte Signal durch die VCFs und VCAs läuft. Man müsste immer einen Taste drücken, damit man was im Delay hört....


Das Delay-Board KLM775 hat einen EIngang Connector 19-2. Der führt zum Widerstand R2 27k der am Pin2 von IC1 hängt. Da hängt man an PIn2 von IC1 noch einen 27k Widerstand und der ist der zweite Eingang für das Delay.

Man kann auch beides machen Ich muss noch mehr Positionen für die nächste Teilebestellung sammeln, dann geht's los.
