I can confirm this behaviour on my DM-6.In my experiment all the LFOs have the same duration, if they start together they end together. If they start spread they end spread. And the cycle repeats itself. This is not what one observes, the first cycle is different from the others.
If all the envelopes are triggered directly on keypress it means that all the LFOs are started on keypress; without phase spread. But all the LFOs have the same duration so in the next cycles the voices must also be triggered directly. i call this a bug and on my DM12 there is something more, worse.I can confirm this behavior on my DM-6.
Seems like all envelopes are triggered directly on keypress no matter in what phase they are currently. If you turn of key sync, everything behaves as expected.
I am not sure if this counts as bug though - one could say that key sync has to ensure that all LFOs have to start new on keypress ... i guess they just did not consider this setup deeply enough.

looked for me like every LFO has two internal clocks: one that is retriggered on key-trigger and another that runs free and is used for the phase-spread offset ...If all the envelopes are triggered directly on keypress it means that all the LFOs are started on keypress; without phase spread. The timings of the next cycles are always the same. LFOs that run free, not sync but spread, would not give thatlooked for me like every LFO has two internal clocks: one that is retriggered on key-trigger and another that runs free and is used for the phase-spread offset ...
Behringer said to me they cannot reproduce my issues, so at least we have two different synths and one of them must have a bugI would call this a bug either but not sure if behringer will do.
One thing that helped me was a program in which the LFOs directly open the VCF filters. If envelope = LFO shape we expect the same sound pattern, but it is not the case.I also tested with 2-voice unison and the bevaviour was corresponding. What i did not test is using arp-sync instead of key-sync.
The time between the simultan triggering of all Voices at first keypress and the beginning of the then correct spreaded subsequent triggers did vary for me (as far as i remember). The timings of the next cycles are always the same. LFOs that run free, not sync but spread, would not give that
Good to know. One thing that helped me was a program in which the LFOs directly open the VCF filters.
On my DM12 it doesn't explain my picture for voices 4-6 and voices 10-12 in wich the voices are not stacked. So at least does the keydown-event force a trigger for all envelopes, one could interprete this as reset of the internal lfo-cycle ...
same for me, i think the Release of the envelope interferes hereThere seems also to be a subtle effect depending on how close the keypress occurs to the normal cycle - sometimes it seems that more or less envelopes are triggered, but i did not examine this any further.

Maybe you can test the same program but with 1 polyphony voice and press 3 keys simultaneously,
looks like i should run a few more experiments this weekend ...same for me, i think the Release of the envelope interferes here
As you wish, you have already helped me a lot. With the code the devs can easily pinpoint the issue. I will know more when my synth will come back or not from rma.looks like i should run a few more experiments this weekend ...

Remote Control
Comprehensive remote control is available for DEEPMIND 12 via iPad*/PC/Mac App over USB, MIDI or built-in WiFi for extended parameter control. The iPad App also features a robust preset manager, gig list full editor and integral Patch Morpher*.
